Vlajku ostrova Herm tvoří svatojiřský kříž, používaný i na Guersney, v kantonu s štítem převedeným do obdélníkové podoby. Znak je tvořen modrým polem modrý s dvěma stříbrnými delfíny vlevo dole a vpravo nahoře. Mezi ně je položeno kosmé břevno, které nese tři mnichy v černých kápích. Modrá je symbolem mořem, které ostrov obklopuje a žlutá pak ostrov samotný. Tři mniši jsou odkazem na minulost. Ostrov byl osídlen Benediktýny z kláštera Mont Saint Michel v jedenáctém století a později Augustiniány. Znak byl přijat v roce 1953, navrhl ho Reverend Percival z Guersney.
Flag of Herm is the usual Cross of Saint George, also used by Guernsey, with a banner of the arms of Herm in the canton. The arms is a blue field with a silver heraldic dolphin in the bottom left and top right. From top left to bottom right there is a yellow diagonal stripe bearing three cowled monks in black robes. The blue symbolizes the sea that surrounds the island, and the yellow the island itself. The three monks are a reference to the past, since the island was colonized by Benedictine monks from Mont-Saint-Michel in the 11th century and later by Augustinians. The shield of Herm was adopted in 1953, designed by the Reverend Percival of Guernsey.
